Well, miraculously, we’ve made it another week. There’s so much heaviness right now in the country and around the world. I understand now when people say they just want world peace. Sigh.

I’m currently trying to plan a big trip for Aaron’s 40th birthday later this year. I’m thinking Hawaii, and more specifically, the island of Maui. I’ve been to Hawaii before as a kid, but as an adult, I just want to go to a quieter island and fully relax. I just wish it weren’t so expensive 🙃 Any must-do’s and see’s on Maui? I’d love to hear your experience if you’ve been! I know I definitely want to do Road to Hana!
Incense is my new thing to give my office cozy and zen vibes. When I was visiting Brandy last week, I bought 10 incense sticks from this mercantile shop because it smelled so good and I decided I wanted to dabble in incense. My parents have always lit incense for their daily Buddhist prayers so it’s something I’m very familiar with in terms of having in the house. I got my new incense holder yesterday and after I lit my incense, it just gave the vibe I was going for!
We received the Nintendo Switch 2 last week and Aaron has been loving it. I have been watching him play Mario Kart World and last night, I decided I wanted to get in on the action. Omg, it’s SOO fun and so much more challenging than any other MK.
If you need last minute Father’s Day gift ideas, don’t forget my Father’s Day gift guide.
Also, if you need recipe ideas, my newsletter went out this morning that has a bunch of Father’s Day recipe ideas.
We’re doing a couple’s pottery workshop tomorrow and I’m SO excited. I’ve never thrown before so I think this will be interesting, lol…stay tuned.
Currently sourcing ideas on how to get the chatroom active on this sub. I know I have it set to paid subscribers only, and I do think that’s a value because it’s a way to directly reach me and talk to me, however, since I don’t have that many paid subscribers (yet), it’s kind of dead in there and would really love to get it more active. Thoughts?
Have a lovely weekend and see you next week!
xx

If you go to Maui you MUST go to Mama's Fish House. There's a reason it's on all the must-do lists. But make your reservation ASAP as it books up months in advance. Road to Hana is worth it but start early. We've been to Maui a couple times (got engaged at the end of Road to Hana and went back for our honeymoon) and love it (although the Big Island is our favorite).
