storybook town day date, bestie hangouts
I’m currently in North Carolina visiting Brandy! So far, we’ve put together her new patio furniture (slay), lots of errands, thrift stores, and a FB Marketplace meetup where we all lived 😂
ICYMI
On Sunday, Aaron took me on a day date to St. Michaels in Maryland. It is the cutest storybook town on the Chesapeake Bay. Like, literally something out of a small town romance novel. They had the cutest boutiques, ice cream shops, and amazing local restaurants. I can’t wait to go back!
I recently had to increase my sertraline dosage because I started noticing several things that were coming up for me, which are clear signs that my previous dosage was starting to wane. I’m okay with going up in dosage because to manage OCD and be at a therapeutic level for medication for OCD is supposed to be on the higher end.
On a whim, I submitted an application to be added to a corgi breeder’s waitlist and I got approved. Grief is interesting. I’m guessing I did this because I’m at a point now where I’ve recovered from my first loss and ready to welcome another furbaby into my life.
Brandy and I went and got Dairy Queen a couple nights ago and I forgot how good their chocolate dipped cones are. I want to get another one, lol
We went to do a FB Marketplace meetup because there were some Pop Mart collectibles that someone here in NC had and we had the best interaction. It was probably the best and most real marketplace transaction either of us ever had. We chatted for 30 additional minutes and we all related on so many levels, not to mention all 3 of us are Aquarius! We exchanged numbers as she’s moving up to my area in August. Haha, friends made through Marketplace…who would’ve thought!
